Sicco studied electronics at the Rotterdam University(School of Technology and Engineering) and Physics at the Technical University Eindhoven. During this period he experienced the first forms of internet. In August 1995 he stopped studying and founded 4U Technologies. This company did build Bulletin Board Systems. Those systems were user communities that could be phoned using modems. When the World Wide Web did start in the Netherlands he transformed it together with Tom Jacobs into Tellus BV in the beginning of 1997. Tellus started building corporate websites, providing content management systems and internet promotion. During the millennium Tellus entered the formula one ticketing market
which resulted in Tellus Tickets BV. In 2003 Tellus started leads websites that
would generate customers for companies in different branches. Nowadays
Tellus operates 150 websites in 14 countries and has over 40 employees. While
being Managing Director Sicco's primary focus is on Marketing,
(Business)Development and ICT. Sicco's ambition is making Tellus a world class
player in the field of generating customers through the internet. Sicco's motto is
"It's all good (Het komt allemaal goed)".

Tom studied Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands. His study field was Management of Technology and Innovation / Industrial Ecology. In the fall of 1996 he started writing the business plan for Tellus. Since January 1997 he has been the Managing Director Tellus.
